Music Festival Style - Looks For Less

Coachella may have come and gone, but it was just the kick-start to a super hot and stylish music festival season. I’ve teamed up with the style team at ASOS to bring you a couple of outfit boards to inspire your style as you dance in the desert to your favorite bands. Lightweight dresses for enduring the heat, practical shoes, a cross-body purse or backpack, and sunnies are must have items.

Music Festival Style - Looks For Less

Music festivals usually last the entire weekend, so you’ll need to pack a few outfits. I’m loving this tribal inspired look – the mix of colors and patterns are too fun at these “anything goes” outdoor festivals.

Is the music festival trend your style? If so, how do you wear this look?

Forever 21 Exclusive Design Top Dress Shorts Pants Jeans

Forever 21 has decided to design for their own brand, the Exclusive Design collection, and I’m pretty excited about what I see so far. The pieces, now available exclusively at Forever 21 stores and Forever21.com, include spring inspired bold brights anchored by black, white and blue basics. Check out Forever 21′s Exclusive Design collection and let me know what you think of their introductory pieces.

JewelMint Mumbai Bracelet Kate Bosworth

The JewelMint Mumbai bracelet sold out before I became a member, but wow did it’s memory live on. The petition to bring back the oxidized silver disc bracelet by JewelMint fans couldn’t be ignored, so “it’s back” for a limited time and it’s almost sold out already! I got one quickly and I can’t wait for it to come in the mail (yes, I have been known to stalk my mailbox for JewelMint pieces lol)! New to JewelMint? Click here for an invitation or check out my JewelMint review.

From Kate Bosworth, “This bracelet has such a cool tribal feel and is a great stand alone piece. I love wearing it with denim and a chunky grey sweater or in the summer with floral prints.”

JewelMint Bring It Back June Selection

Update: JewelMint just launched their much anticipated “Bring It Back” mid-month selections. “Bring It Back” pieces are popular sold out items from past month collections that fans voted to be re-released. The pieces, shown above, are in addition to the amazing June selection.

Work Looks For Less

Remember my Balenciaga handbag look for less outfit post? It has been featured at WorkChic.com in their “Style Me Monday – Outfit Ideas for Casual Fridays”. How cool is that? Thanks so much WorkChic.com for the feature!

From WorkChic.com, “Wearing conservative attire can be daunting and boring day after day. Thus, there is Casual Friday to enjoy a day of dressing in more casual and comfortable styles. It’s perhaps the best day to let your personal style shine through even more. Keep in mind though, casual attire does NOT mean donning a sloppy outfit (unless you are working in a completely relaxed environment where your appearance is of no concern).”

Check out Work Chic’s blog for outfits from several of their favorite bloggers that can easily work as casual Friday outfits. They also take requests, or if you have a favorite work look you would like to share, they’d love to hear from you.

The Breakdown

Those of you that have followed my blog for a while now probably already know that Nicole Miller is one of my FAVORITE high-end fashion designers. Relatively speaking, her designs are much more affordable and approachable than most designs you see on the runway. I love her work so much that I wore a Nicole Miller wedding dress on my big day (as seen here and here and here lol).
