Welcome to Fall Fashion Week at The Look For Less – everyday this week I’ve been featuring affordable fall style including nail polish collections, lookbooks, and designer looks for less. I hope you’ll keep checking back.

Of all the lookbooks I’ve showcased this week, I think that most of my fall budget dollars will probably be spent on the Jennifer Lopez for Kohl’s collection. This is another celebrity collection that I think will do well because I can totally see Jennifer wearing this entire line. What I like best about her style is that every detail of her look (hair, makeup, accessories, nail polish, apparel, and footwear) is always well thought out and flawless! She’s such a risk taker, and it doesn’t always pay off, but I LOVE that she tries. Most of the time I tuned into American Idol just to see what she was wearing lol.

When a celebrity comes out with a fashion line, I expect it to look like something they would wear. You’d think this would be an obvious expectation, but I think a lot of celebs get a paycheck for adding their name to something they’ve never seen while they’re out wearing designer labels.

Three celebrity lines that have impressed me the most are Jessica Simpson apparel and footwear, Fergie footwear, and LC by Lauren Conrad for Kohl’s. Lauren’s first collection for Kohl’s was small and didn’t interest me much, but over the past couple of years, I’ve become a big fan of the line, as evidenced by the growing number of pieces in my closet (check out my latest finds here and here).

LC knows fashion and her California cool style is reflected in every piece of her Fall 2011 collection. Check out the slideshow and let me know what you think of her latest line of apparel, accessories, and footwear.

The Kardashian sisters have designed a fashion line for QVC and I really like it! K-Dash by the Kardashians is affordable, available in several sizes to fit women of all shapes, and clearly reflects their personal style. The line includes blazers, kaftans, maxi dresses, skinny cargos, handbags and so much more! Check it out and let me know what you all think!

Have you heard the news about the latest “celeb turned designer”? Kim Kardashian has teamed up with Pascal Mouawad to create her own 75-piece jewelry collection called Belle Noel. About her line Kim said, “I drew inspiration from my favorite classic movie stars like Carole Lombard, Vivien Leigh and Sophia Loren and my 70’s fashion icons like Lauren Hutton and Julie Christie.” Her inspiration was interesting to me because I found the pieces to be quite modern and a bit edgy, which is totally my style!
