Tangerine Tango Chevron Top Tank Look For Less

You probably already know that my New Years resolution was to wear more color. What better color to work in to my wardrobe than Pantone’s color of the year, Tangerine Tango, and what better pattern than the oh-so-popular chevron. LOVE this tangerine chevron top from ModCloth!

Are you kidding me with that gorgeous faux snakeskin bag? At only $10!!! I’m in love with this entire outfit (especially that bag lol). That’s just one amazing find by Megha Fashionista of Stiletto Diaries from Bangalore, India and there are so many more budget, yet oh-so-trendy, outfit posts at her super stylish blog.

About her look Megha wrote, “The inspiration of this outfit was the red jacket I picked up in Malleswaram. I love the color red and it goes perfectly with my red high heels. Red is a symbol of elegance and perfect to add color to any outfit. So next time you guys see a red jacket, red shoes, red scarf, red skirt, red shirt… don’t be afraid to pick it up.”

All Saints Tan Tribal Top Tee

This tribal top finally made it from my “wish list” to “purchased” now that it’s on sale half off at AllSaints.com. I can’t wait to pair it with my bright rusty orange skinny jeans from Forever 21.

All Saint’s is also offering free shipping for most destinations, including US mainlands (check out the banner at All Saint’s homepage for full details). The savings don’t stop there – this top didn’t qualify, but you can also take an extra 20% off their knits using code ‘KNITWEAR’.

Druzy Jewelry Necklace Ring Earrings Blue Orange

5 Under $50 – Oh-So-Sparkly Druzy Jewelry

Druzy is popping up everywhere and I’m so excited about this trend. Druzy is a coating of fine crystals on a rock fracture surface, usually on agate. It comes in a wide variety of colors and is so sparkly! We found 5 pieces under $50 including necklaces, earrings, and rings. I’d never heard of Brooklyn Thread before, but they have a ton of druzy to choose from all under $50!

  1. Rachel Roy Blue Drusy Necklace – Macy’s $42.00
  2. Orange Druzy Tassel Necklace – Overstock.com $31.99
  3. Callisto Agate Gold Druzy Earrings – Anthropologie $48.00
  4. Silver Druzy Ring – Brooklyn Thread $36.00
  5. Purple Druzy Ring – Brooklyn Thread $30.00

What do you all think of the druzy trend? Is this something you would try?

Ring In The New Year With New Mint Showrooms

My favorite thing about the first of every month is waking up, running to my computer, and checking out what my new Mint showrooms have in store for me. If you’ve been reading my blog for a lil bit, then you’re probably already familiar with JewelMint by Kate Bosworth, StyleMint tees by Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, and ShoeMint by Rachel Bilson and Steve Madden.

Once upon a time I was weary of these “of the month” type subscription clubs, but now I look at them as an amazing opportunity to refresh my wardrobe when needed, as I can always opt out of any month within the first 5 days. I also love that I can earn credits for referring friends to cash in on free jewelry and tees! You probably already know that I’m a huge fan of JewelMint (I have way too many mint boxes stacked on my dresser) and so far I have three StyleMint tees, which are super soft and perfect for layering. I haven’t tried out ShoeMint just yet because their selection is so fun that I just can’t decide what to pick up first. Have any of you tried ShoeMint yet? I’d love to know what you think.

Have you checked out your showrooms today? If so, what were your favorite pieces? So far, I’ve picked up the Madison Avenue ring from JewelMint and I’m thinking about getting the Benson Waterfall cardigan at StyleMint.

Dolce Gabbana Stars Magazine Cover

Look For Less Dolce And Gabbana Stars Dress

The wildly popular Dolce & Gabbana stars that graced the Fall/Winter 2012 runways are popping up on magazine covers and red carpets everywhere. Yakini is back with an amazing look for less in not just one, but three celebrity inspired outfits. Check out her blog, Style Me Prissy, to see how she styled her stars!

About her look, Yakini wrote “This look was inspired by the Fall 2011 RTW sheer star print yellow gown. Kim Kardashian donned the silk chiffon frock while doing a magazine photo shoot in Malibu and I really liked the free and billowy feel of the dress. I also loved the ultra feminine front ribbon tie.

When I found a star print vintage tea dress on eBay (GBP 24.99) my heart went pitter-patter! It’s so dainty and pretty! I added pops of color with suede mustard heels (thrifted) and accessories that consisted of a skinny belt, slim clutch, and scarf (all from Target). The day I took photos there happened to be a gorgeous fall breeze blowing that was perfect as I was able to stay true to the flowy, airy feel that this outfit inspired in me.”

Fendi Anna Colorblock Shoulder Bag Look For Less

Steal the Real – Fendi Anna Colorblock Shoulder Bag

The Fendi Colorblock Piccolo shoulder bag is so fun for fall/winter, but the price tag is a little (a lot) out of my price range! This satchel retails at Barney’s New York for $2,050! I don’t think I could ever add anything to my wardrobe that has a price tag with a comma in it lol. Luckily, HandbagHeaven.com has an amazing look for less for only $40.76, for a difference of $2,010 from the real!

The Bella Colorblock Satchel, available in brown or gray, has retro inspired details, a simple satchel shape with a foldover top flap, and a shoulder length strap. This soft leatherette bag’s colorblock design mixes contrasting colors in chic exotic croc leatherette. A silver metal and enamel faux buckle detail hides the magnetic snap front closure and an exterior back pocket fully zips to keep your cell phone safely stowed.
