Have any of you tried Sole Society yet? I haven’t, but I am very tempted with their March Showroom. Their colorful selection is oh-so-Springy and I can hardly resist any longer. I am in love with the Doria – the orange is amazing, but they also have an ivory pair with a gold metallic platform and heel! If you’ve tried out Sole Society, I’ve love to hear your thoughts!
I am OBSESSED with Frye boots. Over the years, they have come out with so many variations of their harness boot and Target is always right behind them with a look for less.
The real is the Frye 8R W Harness Boot in tan leather and may be found at Zappos.com for $218. The look for less, available in black or brown, is the Kaiala Ankle Boot from Target and what’s CRAZY CRAZE is that the material is genuine leather!!!! They are so similar to the real, with the same expensive material, and cost only $24.99. What a steal! I’ll be ordering a pair quickly before they run out of my size!
Don’t miss the Hunter boot sale starting today at noon at Gilt Groupe. The last time these wildly popular boots were deeply discounted at Gilt, they had SO many to choose from and they all sold out within an hour.
Had I known 3 years ago that Havaianas carried bridal sandals, that would have made my search for the perfect beach wedding flip flop so much easier. They also expanded their collection to include university flip flops! These are a must have for fall and they’re adding new schools to their line-up often.
What I was most excited to discover about Havaianas is that you can make your own flip flops starting at $25! It’s such a fun and easy 4-step process! You start by selecting your sole and strap colors, and then finish the sandals off with up to 4 embellishments of your choice including crystals, initials, starfish and more. They even have a gallery of famous creations – flip flops designed by celebs for inspiration.
Designing your own sandals is the perfect way to color coordinate with your favorite team, sorority, or just to mix and match your own personal favorite colors. Check out the video below on making your own Havaianas. Is this something you’d try out? If you already have, let us know what you think about your custom kicks.
Lauren Conrad, former star of Laguna Beach and The Hills, fashion designer and writer, has been spotted about town sporting these simple suede silver stilettos. Lauren has demonstrated how easily they can be paired with a range of dresses to maintain her ever chic and sweet style.
Lauren’s silver Aldo ‘Fawson’ pumps originally retailed for $100.00 but are currently on sale for $49.98. The stilettos feature a striking silhouette in the back, an almond shaped toe and a hidden platform. I love the simplicity and the versatility of these heels and really appreciate how easily they can be paired with literally anything; dresses, skirts, jeans and even shorts. They are perfect for transitioning your wardrobe from summer to fall.
What do you think of these simple stilettos? Is this a look you would try?
My girl Vanessa has sent so many “designer look for less” tips my way that I asked her to join The Looks For Less team. How’d she do for her first guest post? Amazing find, right? The following is all Vanessa…
Am I the only one who’s totally on board with the major leopard EVERYTHING trend that’s going on right now? The real is the Stuart Weitzman Leopard Calf Hair Espadrille. This shoe has everything that makes it the quintessential go-to shoe for the spring and summer! The raffia heel lends itself to oh so many possibilities for casual and dressy looks for day or night. From shorts to skirts, dresses to jeans, and even beachy looks with one piece bathing suits or cute board shorts with a floppy hat. The leopard print wrap around ankle strap just ups the ante on this already versatile shoe and adds an element of edginess that’s right on trend.
Thanks again to my steal the real tipster Vanessa – she knows her designer styles so well and has an expert eye for spotting a look for less! You have to check out her blog Leather and Lollipops, I LOVE it! The real is the Diane von Furstenberg Opal Wedge and it is perfect for spring! I actually prefer the steal – it’s nearly identical to the real; however, I think the cognac color is much more on-trend and less “heavy” than the brown wedge for spring/summer.
