Tangerine Tango Chevron Top Tank Look For Less

You probably already know that my New Years resolution was to wear more color. What better color to work in to my wardrobe than Pantone’s color of the year, Tangerine Tango, and what better pattern than the oh-so-popular chevron. LOVE this tangerine chevron top from ModCloth!

All Saints Tan Tribal Top Tee

This tribal top finally made it from my “wish list” to “purchased” now that it’s on sale half off at AllSaints.com. I can’t wait to pair it with my bright rusty orange skinny jeans from Forever 21.

All Saint’s is also offering free shipping for most destinations, including US mainlands (check out the banner at All Saint’s homepage for full details). The savings don’t stop there – this top didn’t qualify, but you can also take an extra 20% off their knits using code ‘KNITWEAR’.

Tribal & Loose Knit Tops For Fall

I am desperate for tops in general, but especially for fall. If you’re in need of refreshing your wardrobe, what better place to stock up on affordable fashion than Forever 21? I’m looking for a couple of pieces that can be dressed up for work and a few casual pieces for getting together with friends. I’m loving capes, ponchos, anything tribal, flowey, and tabbed 3/4 sleeves. What pieces do you need to add to your closet this fall?

Oh, I am so in love with these spiked earrings! I saw them in the “Deals and Steals” section of InStyle magazine, couldn’t stop thinking about them, forgot where I’d seen them, and then finally found them again at ShockBoutique.com hahaha.

Tarnished jewelry is so popular right now, in either gold or silver, and this spiked design is so edgy and unique. They are only $15 (take an extra 30% off ending Thursday at midnight) and are definitely on my wish list! LOVE!!!

I can’t remember the last time I was this excited about a fashion find under $50. To get a quality handmade product under $50 is already rare, but what is truely unique is the design and color options of these gorgeous hand printed tights. I stumbled across Gal Stern’s site last month and have visited it at least a hundred times since. ALL of Gal’s tights are on my wish list, including the Goldfish, but I have to have the Leg Jewel tights in black and gold in my closet ASAP!

Gal’s specialty is hand printed tights – they are designed and produced through a special technique developed by Gal in the labs of the Israeli undergarment giant “Gibor Sabrina”. Gal experiments with new materials and at the moment, specializes in a unique combination of cotton and nylon. You MUST shop this site as her tights are a must have! Prices range from $35 – $45.

Ok, so here’s my thing. I keep buying heels lately and I just don’t wear them. In fact, I’m actually nervous because I’ve been hooked on flats for so long that when I wear heels, I stumble around like a drunk girl. It’s crazy for me to admit that because not so long ago, my everyday (going to Home Depot and the grocery store) shoes were heels. So, I’m thinking, I need training wheel heels – you know a thick chunky heel as my gateway to all the amazing heels I’ve bought over the past couple of years.

Besides all of the above excuses to get these heels, luckily for me, chunky heels are way in style right now. In fact, I found these Chinese Laundry Sassyfras Mary Janes (Zappos $88.95) while looking for a Rachel Bilson look for less as she is seen in a pair of Chloe Mary Jane chunky heels all the time. This shoe is like a heel and a clog, both of which are very popular right now, had a cute little mary jane baby. It’s just adorable and because of the color, it can be worn with anything. Rachel was seen wearing her Chloe Mary Janes in a variety of outfits from a bow blouse and cigarette jeans to long denim shorts and a cardigan. So what do you think, should I go for it?

Have you ever been to a department store, something catches your eye, and you find yourself circling it over and over? This Jessica Simpson Lizza Leopard Platform Pump, also available in black patent or black suede, was the latest that had me in vulture formation. I am not one to wear animal prints, but the shape of this shoe, the colors and the pattern are gorgeous. If I dare to attempt the animal pattern trend, then I would defintely try it in a small dose such as a scarf or super fun footwear. For some reason, my eye is drawn to pumps with a built in platform lately.

The thing that I love most about Jessica Simpson apparel and footwear, is that she is known for her sexy style and I can see her wearing EVERYTHING she puts her name on (check out my most recent Jessica Simpson purchase). I can’t say that for the majority of celebs-turned-designers. These shoes are a bit pricey with a tag of $130, but if I have the urge to splurge anytime soon, this will be my prized purchase.

$20 off $40 or more plus Free Shipping at Shoebuy.com when you pay with online banking eBillme. Enter code ‘EBILLME’. Expires 7/4/10.

Update: I found a better deal at ShoeBuy.com. They were $88.95, I used promo code EASTER to save 20%, received free shipping, and even better – free return shipping in case they do not fit. I also saved another $7.95 at checkout and they called it a “Member Discount” (whatever that means, haha) for a total of $64.04. I can’t wait to get them.

Original Post: I lust over these Jessica Simpson nude pumps every time I am in Dillards. They are the exact shade of nude I have been looking for (my skintone to make my legs look longer), I love the interesting shaped platform, the elastic straps are very modern, and they will go with EVERYTHING – dressy or casual.

Oh it is all I can do to walk out of that store and leave these shoes behind. I haven’t picked them up yet because $89 is on the cusp of not-so looks for less. I came home and googled them, as any smart recessionista should, hoping to find a better price and I did!!! These are also $89 at ShoeMall.com, however all shoes over $80 are $20 off + free shipping thru midnight April 3rd. That’s a sign right? I will also save on taxes by purchasing online. Should I go for it?
