Druzy Jewelry Necklace Ring Earrings Blue Orange

5 Under $50 – Oh-So-Sparkly Druzy Jewelry

Druzy is popping up everywhere and I’m so excited about this trend. Druzy is a coating of fine crystals on a rock fracture surface, usually on agate. It comes in a wide variety of colors and is so sparkly! We found 5 pieces under $50 including necklaces, earrings, and rings. I’d never heard of Brooklyn Thread before, but they have a ton of druzy to choose from all under $50!

  1. Rachel Roy Blue Drusy Necklace – Macy’s $42.00
  2. Orange Druzy Tassel Necklace – Overstock.com $31.99
  3. Callisto Agate Gold Druzy Earrings – Anthropologie $48.00
  4. Silver Druzy Ring – Brooklyn Thread $36.00
  5. Purple Druzy Ring – Brooklyn Thread $30.00

What do you all think of the druzy trend? Is this something you would try?

JewelMint StyleMint ShoeMint BeachMint

Ring In The New Year With New Mint Showrooms

My favorite thing about the first of every month is waking up, running to my computer, and checking out what my new Mint showrooms have in store for me. If you’ve been reading my blog for a lil bit, then you’re probably already familiar with JewelMint by Kate Bosworth, StyleMint tees by Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, and ShoeMint by Rachel Bilson and Steve Madden.

Once upon a time I was weary of these “of the month” type subscription clubs, but now I look at them as an amazing opportunity to refresh my wardrobe when needed, as I can always opt out of any month within the first 5 days. I also love that I can earn credits for referring friends to cash in on free jewelry and tees! You probably already know that I’m a huge fan of JewelMint (I have way too many mint boxes stacked on my dresser) and so far I have three StyleMint tees, which are super soft and perfect for layering. I haven’t tried out ShoeMint just yet because their selection is so fun that I just can’t decide what to pick up first. Have any of you tried ShoeMint yet? I’d love to know what you think.

Have you checked out your showrooms today? If so, what were your favorite pieces? So far, I’ve picked up the Madison Avenue ring from JewelMint and I’m thinking about getting the Benson Waterfall cardigan at StyleMint.

Silkies Tights Shapewear Looks For Less

Silkies – Luxury Tights & Shapewear at Affordable Prices

‘Tis the season for tights, leggings and shapewear! I’m guessing that most of us are not attending holiday parties in a full-length dress, so we need a little coverage in this cold weather. nicole By Nicole Miller Blog Looks For Less

I’m A Guest Editor At nicole By Nicole Miller’s New Blog

The team over at Nicole Miller invited me to do a guest post for their new “nicole by Nicole Miller” blog, Nicole Daily, and I couldn’t be more excited! In addition to the blog, they also have a new website so that we can keep up with all the latest in their affordable fashion line sold exclusively at JC Penney.

For my guest post, Nicole Miller requested that I put together a few affordable holiday outfits, and no festive look would be complete without sequins, lace, and a little red nail polish. I hope you all will check out my blog post and let me know what you think. I’m BEYOND excited to be a guest editor for their new blog!

Two Tone Gold Silver Pearl Bangle Look For Less

Steal the Real – Two Tone Pearl Bangle Bracelet

I love the mix of materials in this David Yurman pearl, gold, and silver bangle. The real has two fresh water pearls on 14K gold rings and a bracelet of twisted cable sterling silver. This beautiful vintage-inspired bangle may be found at Saks Fifth Avenue with a price tag of $495! The steal may be found at Mimi’s The Look For Less Boutique for only $12!

Classic Ray Ban Wayfarers Look For Less

Steal the Real – The Classic Ray Ban Wayfarer

I have to admit, I own the real (with credits from BeyondTheRack.com, of course) and the steal, and there is no difference other than the expensive label. I was on a major mission to find the sunnies Taylor Jacobson wore in every episode of The Rachel Zoe project, and come to find out, they were the Classic Ray-Ban Wayfarers also seen on Tom Cruise in Risky Business and Edward Cullen in Twilight lol.

The Ray-Ban Wayfarers come with a price tag of $169! The Retro Style Wayfarers from SunglassWarehouse.com are only $14.95, for a savings of $154 from the Ray Bans.

Stella And Dot

Mixed Metals – Sparkle & Fringe

It ain’t nothin but a party y’all – a Stella and Dot “Trunk Show” party! My sister’s friend Brenna is a Stella & Dot consultant and offered to send me the accessory of my choice and I couldn’t pass up their stunning Cleo Fringe Earrings. They are everything that is on trend right now – mixed metals, curb chain, fringe, pewter rhinestones – yet they look so elegant at the same time. I love the way they move and sparkle. They are so perfect for fall/winter and I can’t wait to wear them to my upcoming holiday parties!

Have any of you picked up anything from Stella & Dot before? This was my first piece and I am beyond excited about their selection, style, and the quality of their jewelry! The Cleo Fringe Earrings are super lightweight, which is perfect for me because I’m very sensitive to heavy earrings.

You have to check out their selection of rose gold pieces, launched just in time for holidays. Who knew Stella & Dot carried such an on-trend line of jewelry? I wish I had checked them out long ago! If you pick up anything from Stella & Dot, make sure you select Jennifer L. under trunk show hostess :).

Beaded Wrap Pearl Bracelet

DIY – OrnamenTea Pearl Beaded Wrap Bracelet

I discovered OrnamenTea.com a few weeks ago and fell in love. It’s a one stop shop for jewelry and accessories DIY projects. They have so many amazing tutorials to choose from and for each how-to, they sell all of the ingredients right there on the project page. Not only do they showcase the materials they used, but they also offer up so many color and materials options.

When I stumbled upon their beaded wrap bracelet tutorial, I knew I had to DIY it. They used ball chain in their tutorial, but one of the other options was this beautiful gold and pearl chain. I wanted to run with the natural pearl theme, so I paired it with coral wax linen, natural leather cord, and a beautiful moss and coral bead.

What do you all think of this beaded wrap bracelet? Is this something you would DIY?
