If I to select a retail shop that defines my style, it would definitely be Urban Outfitters. We’ve also caught Lauren Conrad in their apparel on several occasions. When they are having a sale, I tend to go a little nuts! Here are my latest finds from their recent 25% off sale. My favorite items are the Ecote Sunset Dress, Kimchi Blue Ruffle Tube Top, and the the Silence & Noise Coated Tunic. The colors in the Sunset Dress are so vibrant and beautiful in person. I also get several compliments when I wear my Racerback Cowl Neck Tunic with my wide-leg pants. LOVE!

This celebrity look for less goes out to my Twitter bud, @DeeJangles. We both adore Ginnifer Goodwin and I’ve been wearing purple nail polish ever since I saw her in “He’s Just Not That Into You”. Our Twitter friend @pinkfroggg saw the post we did on Red Cowgirl boots and requested an edition on black boots. She tweeted, “ideas where 2 look 4 cute nxpensive cowgirl boots? I’m very uncountry, but need them 4 a @taylorswift13 concert next month. def. tall, short boots don’t work on me.” She’s looking for boots to go with a black and cream dress and we have a few options for her to choose from at a variety of price points. Her timing is great because according to the latest edition of InStyle magazine, tough girl looks are so in style right now and they specifically mentioned black western boots. @pinkfroggg, we hope you have fun at the Taylor Swift concert. I hear she puts on an AMAZING show… very highly reviewed.

Oh, how I love my Tassi… let me count the ways!! I know I’m going to sound like an infomercial on this one, but I can’t help myself. Do you ever find yourself so passionate about something that you start promoting it to anyone that will listen? My latest discovery is something that I got for Christmas and refused to try for 8 months, now I refuse to take it off. The Tassi is a super absorbent double elastic terry cloth hair wrap (your hair sits in the terry cloth between the two pieces of covered elastic) and I would wear in public if it was socially acceptable.

Sometimes I hate being a girl and the time that it takes to get ready. On weekends, I just want to lounge around when I get out of the shower, or let my hair air dry, but I don’t want to lay on my couch with a wet towel on my head? The Tassi is so absorbent and comfy that I have fallen asleep in it a few times without my pillow getting wet. No more bulky towel turbans are necessary. Now I’m so attached that I wear it around the house (more often than I should admit) because it keeps my hair out of my face. I can easily wash my face without my hairline getting wet and don’t have to take the time to put in a ponytail holder. The Tassi is much more comfy than a ponytail holder because you can lean back on your couch without a ponytail sticking out of the back of your head, and its much better on your hair.

Have I covered everything that I love about it? Oh, and they come in a variety of colors. I have teal, which is quite alarming when I catch a glimpse of myself in the mirror. I hope Santa puts a white one in my stocking this year. My friends laugh at me and think that I’ve lost it. They’re probably right. Just thought I’d share my discovery with the rest of the world.

My twitter bud @OkinawaMagan is super excited about celebrating her husband’s October homecoming from Afghanistan and needs a little red, white, and blue spirit for his arrival. She’s already booked their trips to Singapore, Malaysia, and Thailand.

Magan tweeted us to say, “@TheLooksForLess Can you help me find a wedge in navy blue to rock with my red, white and blue @Lulusdotcom dress for the hub’s homecoming?” She picked up the Little Sparkler Dress in red after she saw it in an edition of Steal the Real. Sequins are in my top 5 for Fall list and we have a double dose of Steal the Real for you… full of sequins!
